I'm Daniel Spiegelberg - Teacher at Mt. Everest Academy in San Diego.
This is my twelveth year at Mt. Everest Academy, and I'm excited again to teach American Literature, English, German, World History/Identity Power, and PE.
I grew up in San Diego, and attended schools in the San Diego Unified School District all the way through high school! My parents immigrated from Switzerland, and I can thank them for my German language skills as they both spoke only Swiss German to me in my youth. I have been fortunate to have lived in Switzerland, and traveled all over Europe, and to many other countries and continents as well!

My Monthly Coversheets and Assignments will be on Canvas once school starts on the links above. access codes needed to join my classes on Google Classroom I will share at our first meeting or you will be invited before the first day of class.
Copies of all Coversheets will also be provided on Google Classroom and Canvas each month.

Also, there is a link to our German Honors Society for students that have completed 2 Semesters of German with a minimum 3.5 GPA, and an overall GPA of 3.0. Students must also demonstrate appreciation for the Germanic Culture by participating in the MEA German Club events, and other related functions.
